QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Why Are Some US Shoppers Starting Holiday Shopping Earlier This Year? Three in 10 US consumers expect to start shopping earlier for the holidays this year than they did last year, according to Coresight Research’s holiday shopper survey. This compares to just one in 10 that expects to start later. Consumers appear to be attuned to potential supply chain challenges, with early shoppers concerned about getting online orders in time and product availability.
