On May 3, Under Armour announced the departure of two key executives. Henry Stafford, Chief Merchandising Officer, will leave the company in July. Kip Fulks, who assumed the responsibilities of Chief Marketing Officer in November 2015 as he led the search for a new Chief Marketing Officer, will take on merchandising responsibilities on an interim basis and expand his oversight to include products, innovation and merchandising. Fulks served as President of Footwear and Innovation from March 2015 to October 2015, and as Chief Operating Officer from September 2011 to February 2015.
Robin Thurston, Chief Digital Officer, will also leave the company in July. He is a co-founder of MapMyFitness, and joined Under Armour in December 2013, when it acquired the fitness application. Michael Lee, Senior Vice President of North America Digital and co-founder of MyFitnessPal, will take on Thurston’s responsibilities. Lee joined Under Armour in March 2015, when the company acquired MyFitnessPal.
