Stein Mart recently announced the appointment of Dawn Robertson as CEO and member of the company’s board of directors. Robertson will also serve as chief merchant, following the departure of Brian Morrow at the end of 2015.
Over the last decade, Robertson has served as CEO or President at several retail companies, including UNKNWN, Deb Shops, Nygard International, and Avenue. Prior to that, she held various executive positions at Old Navy, Myer Stores, Federated Department Stores, Saks and May Department Stores. Robertson has over 25 years of experience in the retail industry.
She succeeds Jay Stein who remains Chairman of the Board.
