On June 2, 2020, Coresight Research and the RIC hosted the Israel Retail-Tech Innovator Landscape: Virtual Overview. The digital event was kicked off by Albert Chan, Head of Greater China at Coresight Research, and Oren Paran, Managing Director at RIC, and it showcased Israeli startup companies.
The digital event involved several leading industry experts from companies such as Fox Group, Microsoft, Shufersal, Super-Pharm and Unilever. Discussion centered around innovation and highlighted that the startup sentiment in Israel continues to be strong; there is a lot of opportunity for investment and growth, according to insights from industry experts and venture capitalists.
In this report, we outline the startups that presented at the event.
Israel’s Innovative Retail-Tech Ecosystem
Israel is quickly becoming one of the hottest and most innovative ecosystems for retail technologies. Israeli startups are offering solutions to overcome some of the key challenges in the retail sector for wide-ranging applications, from supply chain logistics to the in-store consumer experience.
The startups presenting at the event were selected from Coresight Research’s
Israel Retail-Tech Innovator Landscape, which features 128 of the most forward-looking and disruptive Israeli retail technology companies across four technology segments: logistics and supply chain, in-store technology, online shopping and analytics. The majority of presenting startups have raised a minimum of Series A financing and/or are VC-backed. Additionally, many have well-established retail customers.
