As reported by the US Census Bureau on June 15, 2021, May 2021 saw strong year-over-year growth—although down from April’s huge increase, which was largely due to weak comparatives in 2020.
- Compared to 2019 values, May sales were still very strong but represented the second straight month of declining growth.
