An interesting development, but could be a while before you can enjoy the full 8K experience, given that 4K content is available through only a small number of broadcasters — and requires a high-speed Internet connection of at least 25 Mbps. Panasonic demonstrated groundbreaking electric bicycles and the connectivity in an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Panasonic’s broad technology portfolio enables it to be the leader in airline in-flight entertainment systems, and its capabilities extent to mobile communications. The company demonstrated the communications infrastructure it is providing in an electrically assisted bicycle (made by Van Dessel) and an electric motorcycle (made by Harley-Davidson.) Samsung launched a robot that monitors your health. Samsung launched an AI companion robot called Bot Care that responds to voice commands and is able to monitor a human’s health, including vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and heart rate), medication intake, sleep cycles - and can even call for help in an emergency. The robot is targeted as a companion for the elderly.
