Abercrombie and Fitch’s (ANF) COO Jonathan Ramsden Steps Down

On May 5, Abercrombie and Fitch’s current COO and former CFO, Jonathan Ramsden, announced his resignation, effective June 15. Ramsden joined the company in December 2008 as EVP and CFO and has served as COO since January 2014. Ramsden’s responsibilities will be assumed by other members of the management team, including Arthur Martinez, Executive Chairman; Fran Horowitz, President and Chief Merchandising Officer; Joanne Crevoiserat, EVP and CFO; and John Gabrielli, SVP of Human Resources. The company has experienced a number of management changes recently. In December, Christos Angelides, President of the Abercrombie brand, was terminated, and Fran Horowitz, President of the Hollister division, assumed the newly created position of Chief Merchandising Officer. The company has operated without a CEO since December 2014, when former CEO Mike Jeffries stepped down.
